About me
I'm a multimedia storyteller and journalist passionate about audience engagement and content creation. My work has been honored by the Associated Collegiate Press, the College Media Association, the Journalism Association of Community Colleges, and the Hearst Foundation. ACP also named me a Reporter of the Year finalist while finishing my bachelor’s degree in journalism at San Francisco State University.
I joined Cityside in November 2024 as its audience engagement producer. I play a key role in reaching and engaging with communities across Berkeley, Oakland and Richmond by producing content for newsletters and social media channels, and supporting direct community engagement, including at Cityside's live events. I also work as an independent engagement producer for KQED where I had previously been an intern. I was most recently with Business Insider as a social video and NLGJA fellow.
In my free time, I love traveling, trying new foods, attending music festivals, and streaming videos in all formats.
