Social Media Strategy 

I innovated storytelling methods on KQED's Instagram channels through seamless carousel posts (shown below), which increased average engagements (likes, comments, shares, saves).

I was also responsible for extracting and analyzing data and insights. I presented findings to the audience development team and other organization stakeholders to help inform KQED's content strategy.

I developed the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Instagram brand and implemented a new strategy, which included:

  • Creating in-feed post templates from scratch using Canva (shown below)

  • Enhancing Instagram Story templates

  • Maximizing post reach by utilizing available Instagram features (geotags, hashtags in first comments, post collabs, etc.)

  • Improving algorithm ranking by introducing a posting cadence

As a result, average post reach and engagements increased.
